Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between ProjectOnUs (“ProjectOnUs”, “we”) and the organization that creates a ProjectOnUs account (“Customer”, “you”). By creating an account or using the service you accept them on behalf of your organization.
1. The service
ProjectOnUs provides project and document management with AI features, automations, approvals and outside links, as described on our website. We may improve and change the service; we will not materially reduce the core functionality of a paid plan during its current term.
2. Accounts and access
- You are responsible for who you invite, the roles you give them, and for keeping sign-in accounts secure (we recommend multi-factor authentication).
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract, and users must be at least 13.
- Tell us promptly at security@projectonus-delivered.com about any unauthorized use.
3. Your content
You own everything you and your users upload or create (“Customer Content”). You give us permission to host, copy, process and display it only as needed to provide the service to you — including sending it to AI models when AI is on — and as described in our privacy policy and DPA. We do not use Customer Content to train AI models. You are responsible for having the rights and consents needed for the content you upload, including personal data about other people.
4. AI output
AI summaries, extracted details, tasks, checks and generated documents can be wrong or incomplete. They are aids, not professional (legal, financial, engineering or safety) advice: check important results before relying on them. Approvals and decisions remain yours.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t use ProjectOnUs to break the law or others’ rights; upload malware; attempt to access other organizations’ data or probe, overload or bypass our security; use outside links to distribute unlawful content; or resell the service without our agreement. We may suspend access that puts the service or others at risk, and will tell you why where we can.
6. Plans, trials and payment
Plans, limits and prices are shown on our website or in your order. Trials end automatically; nothing is charged without your agreement. Paid plans renew for the same period unless cancelled; fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of price changes.
7. Ending the service
You can close your account at any time. Before closing, admins can export your content. After an account is closed we delete Customer Content within 30 days (and from backups within 35 days after that), unless the law requires us to keep it.
8. Confidentiality and security
We keep Customer Content confidential and protect it with the measures described on our security page and in the DPA.
9. Warranties and liability
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Except as expressly stated, the service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses or lost profits, and each party’s total liability under these terms is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months before the claim (or USD 100 on a free plan). These limits don’t apply to breaches of confidentiality, your payment obligations, or liability that can’t be limited by law.
10. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, and disputes go to the state and federal courts located in California. If a provision is unenforceable the rest stays in effect. We may update these terms with 30 days’ notice to admins for material changes. Contact: hello@projectonus-delivered.com.
